In 2018, Oceans 8 came out as a follow up to the well-received heist series of movies that originated with Oceans 11 and the powerhouse George Clooney/Matt Damon/Brad Pitt trio. Its newest iteration somewhat glorifies the mastery of “the perfect heist”, starring Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Mindy Kaling and more. This star studded cast tells the story of the attempted heist of a necklace worth in excess of $150,000,000 – being worn by an actress at the infamous Met Gala.

While you may not be donning a Valentino down the red carpet this year, ask yourself if your jewelry, fine art, wine, or other price(less) items are protected against theft or loss. You may have some coverage under your homeowners’ policy – but often, and especially if not scheduled separately and appraised often, you may not have enough.
